The Australian Institute of Family Studies is conducting research with young people about their experiences of family law system services when parents separate. They want to talk to young people who are aged 10 – 17 years, and one of their parents, about the services that were helpful or unhelpful for them and their family, and what can be done better to support young people when parents separate. Young people don’t need to have had direct contact with services to participate in the research.

Parents and young people may be eligible to participate if your post-separation parenting arrangements are soon to be finalised, or have been finalised within the last 12 months, and you live in Australia. If you and your son/daughter choose to be involved in this research, they will work with you to decide the best time to have an interview.

Please contact the research team if you and your child would like to take part in this important study, or if you would like more information. As a thank you there’s a $30 gift card in it for young people who participate and a $20 gift card for their parent.

SMS your name and phone/email contact to 0448 383 007 and we’ll be in touch with you.
