Salary Packaging

Gippsland Lakes Complete Health (GLCH) is a not for profit organisation and is classified by the Taxation Office as a Public Benevolent. This allows GLCH to provide a range of salary packaging benefits to employees in a full or part time capacity. These arrangements include:

Scholarships

GLCH scholarships provide staff with opportunities to further their ongoing education above and beyond that prescribed by job related training, linked professional development initiatives and Agreement conditions. Employees can gain knowledge and skills in the form of recognised qualifications, and/or experience which will assist individual, professional and organisational growth.

Professional Development

GLCH provides significant resources to maintain and develop the skills of its workforce. A highly skilled workforce is central to GLCH’s commitment to continuous improvement and to help our employees increase their knowledge and gain further confidence in their abilities.

Flexible Employment Arrangements

Depending on the role and employment arrangement, GLCH can offer accrued days off for full time employees and flexible start and finish times. We believe in a good work/life balance.

Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) allows employee’s access to external qualified counsellors, when personal, family or work issues are impacting on employee’s well-being or quality of life. EAP is a completely confidential program.

In addition to these employee benefits, GLCH provides vaccinations to eligible employees and access to onsite gym programs. GLCH supports ‘Reaching out beyond our community’ projects and currently supports staff charity to the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the Tabitha Foundation.
