Our Children’s Centre in Lakes Entrance was lucky to receive a Native Vegetation and Habitat Creation Grant from the fabulous crew at East Gippsland Water to create a native indigenous food garden in an eco-friendly wicking bed. The children have had a blast helping in the gardens and creating a vibrant space for all to enjoy. The edible plants have started to make their way into the kitchen, with a few favourites being the Chocolate Lily, Blue Berries, Sugar Bush and the Grass Tiger Plant – which happens to be an edible flower!
