i-Connect is a Family Mental Health Support Service funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services to deliver support to children and young people in East Gippsland at risk of or affected by mental illness.
This free service targets the 0 -18 age group, with specific programs for different age groups.
i-Connect aims to help children and young people stay engaged in education and learning, including sport and recreation, and to stay connected to their family, friends, and community. The service works with the family or trusted adults in the lives of children and young people involved in the program.

Reconnect: The Reconnect program uses community-based early intervention services to assist young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and their families. Weekly or fortnightly appointments are provided to strengthen the young person’s connections with school, family, and community. The Reconnect worker works together with the young person to develop a care plan based on their individual needs. Some support can also be provided to the parent/guardian to assist the young person’s situation. The young person must participate in regularly scheduled appointments with their allocated worker.

Finding solutions is a creative support service that works with young people from 12-18 years and their families to build better relationships. It includes the use of mediation intervention to resolve behaviours and/or issues that place family relationships at risk of breakdown.
