Transport Options : Getting around

If you are having difficulty finding a way to get to appointments, there are a range of transport options available to people in the local community.

GLCH Volunteer Transport

This service uses volunteers to take people to non-urgent medical appointments when no other option is available.  The provision of service is dependent on the availability of volunteers.

To use this service you must be eligible for the Home and Community Care Program (HACC) – ie elderly people and people with disabilities who are not receiving assistance through Veterans Affairs, Workcover or TAC.

Donations are welcomed and will help extend the service.
