Gippsland Lakes Complete Health formally opened the Gippsland Lakes Complete Health Children’s Centre on Friday night with a ‘Treasures by Twilight’ evening.

The event formalities were conducted by GLCH CEO Sue Medson, with speeches delivered by Mayor Mark Reeves and GLCH Board Chair Jeff Wilson.

The ‘Treasures by Twilight’ event included many activities throughout the facility for the children. These included themed “outer space” and “underwater” rooms, a kinder gym obstacle course, Mother Goose story time, native animal display, cupcake decorating, music, singing, a special appearance by Munch Girl, as well as a sausage sizzle.

A native tree was planted in the grounds to commemorate the special occasion.

There were many families in attendance, despite the chilly weather, and all of the activities were enjoyed by young and old alike.
